Saudi Arabia shares lower at close of trade; Tadawul All Share down 1.14%

Saudi Arabia equities were lower at the close on Sunday, as losses in the Telecoms & ITCement and Energy & Utilities sectors propelled shares lower.

At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share lost 1.14%.

The biggest gainers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Umm Al Qura for Development and Construction Company SCJSC (TADAWUL:4325), which rose 2.77% or 0.70 points to trade at 25.95 at the close. National Industrialization Co (TADAWUL:2060) added 2.26% or 0.21 points to end at 9.49 and Arabian Contracting Services Company CJSC (TADAWUL:4071) was up 1.69% or 2.20 points to 132.00 in late trade.

Biggest losers included Zahrat Al Waha for Trading Co (TADAWUL:3007), which lost 7.05% or 2.10 points to trade at 27.70 in late trade. Saudi Automotive Services Co. (TADAWUL:4050) declined 5.67% or 3.70 points to end at 61.50 and Emaar The Economic City (TADAWUL:4220) shed 4.50% or 0.66 points to 14.00.

Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 237 to 72 and 21 ended unchanged on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange.

 

In commodities trading, Crude oil for June delivery was down 1.60% or 0.95 to $58.29 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in July fell 1.35% or 0.84 to hit $61.29 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 0.66% or 21.30 to trade at $3,257.00 a troy ounce.

EUR/SAR was unchanged 0.02% to 4.24, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.01% to 3.75.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.21% at 99.84.
